Before you head to Arizona

Now, you’ve decided to make the trip out to Arizona for the NFL Big Game. Now what?

Get ready, you’re in for a pricey weekend.

There are 4 key things you need to think about –

#1 – do you want to go into the game? Or do you want to attend a game watch party nearby?

#2 – what do you want to do for the pre-game?

#3 – how will you get there? Train, plane, car? Get that decided and get any/all travel secured.

#4 – where are you staying? Hopefully, you have a friend in the greater Phoenix area, but if not, get that accommodation booked pronto.

More details to follow on all of these above four points…

Securing your Game Tickets

Tickets aren’t on sale yet, but, if you’re going to the game, tickets are going to be available on multiple different websites. Stubhub, Ticketmaster, Vividseats, and Gametime are just a few of the places you can secure your tickets.

About | State Farm Stadium

Getting to Phoenix

State Farm Stadium is North of Interstate 10 and east of the Agua Fria Freeway (Arizona State 101) in Glendale, AZ. If you’re flying, the nearest major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and you can get flights there from all major carriers. Want to make it a road trip? The good news for you is that there are plenty of RV rental services to accommodate you. Outdoorsy, Cruise America and RV Rentals are three affordable options.

Accommodation Options in Phoenix

You have plenty of places to stay around the stadium, with the Hampton Inn & SuitesTru by Hilton, Renaissance Phoenix, and more. Prefer roughing it? RV parks around the stadium are also plentiful! Have a couch you can sleep on at a friend’s place? Let us know how it went. We’re your tailgating service at State Farm Stadium, and as such, we understand the couch is a great place to crash after a day of tailgating.

If you’re looking for a place with your own yard, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc, no worries, Vrbo and Airbnb also have tons of options. Hurry though, prices are already steadily increasing.

Area Restaurants

You have some incredible options for food before or after your tailgating experience. There’s the awesome pub food and craft beer at State 48 Brewery, the mind-blowing variety of desserts at The Lola AZ, gourmet Mexican fare at Salt Tacos y Tequila, and fresh and light cuisine at Kabuki Sushi, and unbelievable ribs at Shane’s Rib Shack.

If you want to head to a happy hour for some cocktails to quench your thirst after a long day, then Second Story Liquor Bar is your place.

Getting your parking passes is digital now. They expect you to have your pass on your phone, so make sure it doesn’t die on you. They have outdoor parking, parking garages, parking for oversized vehicles, and areas designated for charter buses and limos/ridesharing. Get there early. Trust us.

Things to do in Phoenix before the Super Bowl

Coming out for the Super Bowl but staying a few days? No worries, there are many exciting attractions in the area.

Arizona is known for its weather and landscape, so might as well take advantage of the beautiful mountains in the area and go for a hike!

Ever thought about touring the Arizona deserts on an ATV? Yeah, me neither, (until now) but it sounds pretty enticing. Check it out here.

If you’re trying to beat the heat, Phoenix has a long list of museums you can visit. Musical instruments, art, and science just to name a few are there for your viewing pleasure.
